I can sort of understand, I used to do it a little in other games. Once I made a joke about getting my birthday in Y, 01590 (1st of may 1990) and I got it in the next 2 attempts. Anyway, with sun and moon you know that a nice ID is practically impossible to generate. Your ID is actually the same as it was in previous gens, the 0 - 999999 thing isn't a real ID. That id is the last 6 digits of this: TID + SID*65536. Which means indefinitely some ID numbers aren't even possible between 0 - 999999.
