its nice to not have to worry about some mons falling behind the exp curve if they dont get used for a bit, but it does make most of the game a fair bit too easy.

kinda wish it would get nerfed just a little but it IS a kids game so...

I like this game's experience leveling. It's easy to level up your Pokemon, but things can indeed get tricky if you get underleveled.

This is what I did. I initially had it off but there were a lot of pokemon I wanted to try out this gen so I kept rotating through about 30 or so pokemon. Even with exp share on, I stayed like 2-3 levels below the level curve.
Except my starter. Couldn't abandon my first bro :|

Personally I don't use it on my main team unless they're under-leveled as fuck. But I am using it to level up pokemon for the purposes of completing the dex.

I'd say use it until the first island to let your wingulls and shit catch up, then just get your team to 2 hearts each for the extra xp then drop it.

It's fun to manually level up your team because you have to lead with a different mon every fight.
