I wish Araquanid was a little weirder looking. Dewpider is a cool freakazoid, but Araquanid is pretty much just a helmet spider.

I just wish I could have spent more yime with Dewpider. By the time you catch it it only has a few levels to evolve.

Dewpider and Araquanid are a representation of the spider you found in your shower that one time, but DIDN'T flood down the drain and instead went out of your way to take it outside in a glass jar or something.

That's why the Dex says it cares for others.

It irks me that Araquanid has 20+ more Attack than Sp. att., since Dewpider's attacks are equal. Although I suppose if it did, everyone would run special with Scald, which would suck all the fun out of it.

That's supposed to represent the bonus Water-type damage from Water Bube. It uses Liquidation as normal then headbutts with its bubble head for twice the damage.
