since this seems like a stealth hyper-training thread, what's the most effective way to grind a mon to 100? Two Affection Hearts + Lucky Egg, and then just E4 over and over?

Get mon up to Level 66
Have two 5 Stars Rare Kitchens
Make sure you have at least 800 FC on hand, if not grind
Use both seven level ups on it from both shops, then use both nine level ups after ward
Mon is now Level 98, either grind the last two levels or use two rare candies

That's how you quickly get a Pokemon up to Level 100 in SM.

Why the hell are so many of your complaining about IVs on shinies? Unless you want a 0 VI in Atk or Speed, it's all salvageable through bottle caps. They're not even hard to get.

You can also do it with one kitchen, spread out over 3 days. Or a 5-star with a lower level to do it in 2. Getting that second 5-start kitchen is extremely expensive unless you get lucky with Sophocles.

Don't have a pic rn, but the first shiny I mm'd for in SM was sandygast. The shiny had a special attack IV of 0. She's like...level 83 now? Got sick of grinding the E4, so she just lives in Isle Evelup until she hits 89.

Destiny Knot only passes on 5 IVs. If you're breeding a 6IV ditto with a 4IV mon (just short of being functionally what you want), you can still get offspring as bad as 3IV. Even with two 6IV parents, you're guaranteed 5 IVs only, with a 1/32 chance of a 6IV, and if you get a 5IV, a 1/6 chance of getting the spread you want.
