Literally no reason to use basehax. It's shit. Also, you can't update it for a version that doesn't exist yet. Just get soundhax and then install steelhax.

Soundhax is so easy a literal retard could do it. You can now use pkhex for free in under ten minutes on any 3DS with JK's save manager and soundhax homebrew. Just fucking do it yourself and stop begging here. These threads only had a point when getting homebrew on 11.1 and above was actually hard.
New 3DS doesn't even need an SD reader.

You can't import QR codes into pkhex. Pkhex is for creating them. The only way to use the QR codes is with SciresM's codebin patches in HANS or Luma.

For questions on how to use PKSM 4.0.0, review the readme on the hub page.

If you're getting errors, turn on your internet prior to launching PKSM, it downloads an additional asset folder on launch (this was on the readme, as well as additional instructions for manual installs.)

This application is a save mamanger/offline bank/ editor for Gen 5 and above. Yes you can offline bank all your old friends and transfer them in the game, but until bank comes out officially, all Pokémon transfered are rendered illegal until official bank.

While I edited my oras savefile in the past, I think I was using a different save file manager than JKSM. But the concept is the same. Go into Homebrew, extract savefile using your savefile manager, dump to SD, open in PkHex in PC, edit, import edited savefile back into game. You might want to browse ProjectPokemon forums to see which save managers work.

Different apps for different purposes. If you just want to edit 1 pokemon quickly, and don't want the hassle of exporting sav, importing sav, etc, use PKSM.

It serves the purpose for lazy people. Not having a computer is understandable since I don't. But phones and tablets usually have sd or micro sd card slot so it's possible to transfer the needed files to your sd card so you can have access to homebrew and be able to inject if you have a n3ds or use pskm which is kinda like pkhex without the ability to make or use qr codes but you can edit your pokemon and make pre made pokemon (can't edit sid and tid or location).

You literally just have to take a pic of those qr codes using your ds camera. We literally did all the work as far as creating the pokemon goes. You just have to take the picture, and trade them on the gts. You shouldn't have to edit anything at all.

download jksm and merge the 3ds folder in there with the one on your 3ds.

Go into the hbl via soundhax, start jksm, select pokemon to dump your savegame and dump it to the sd card.

Put sd card in your pc, edit with pkhex, save, sd card back into the 3ds, hbl, jksm, inject savegame, done.

On n3ds you can also do the qr injection method via hans explained in the op.

Make sure to keep backups of your savegames in case something goes wrong"

1. Open QR in a new tab
2. Copy that QR's URL link
3. Extract your save in JKSM and open in PkHexX
4. Alt + Click on the Arceus icon to load from URL
5. Set the mon in a free slot
6. Repeat for as many QRs as necessary
7. Save as main, and inject this save into your game
8. You now have all the injected mons that people requested, go on gts and trade to the requester.

Go get off your ass and do it yourself
