People pay too much attention to a game's flaws. ORAS has some things worth going back to for.

Also I like Hoenn for the reason so many hate it "Too much Water."

I need some motivation to push through both X and OR. I want to use both for some pokemon unavailable in Sun, but of all the pokemon games I've played I can't bring myself to go through them. I get to Mauville or Lavaridge in OR and I stop. I get to the grass gym in X and I stop.

I either get really bored or I get upset like I do with GTA V because muh nostalgia of the previous title

Just take your time. I always get bored at Mossdeep but my desire to get the Eav Training items from the resort pushed me along
