No, because that would require canonizing (or if that word triggers you, /featuring/) a protagonist that isn't Red, alienating the players who chose the other protagonist. They can be, at best, mentioned only in passing without gender pronouns.

Lillie can, however, reappear as many times as she likes, Hau too.

the chances of them bringing back the SM protagonist in a future game is highly unlikely, the only way I can see them coming back in a future Pokemon game to see Lillie again is if a SM sequel happens in Alola and you play as the same protagonist as you did in SM

even then, that would still require an excuse for SM protag to start from scratch and re-adventure Alola again though, so it's still highly unlikely

it'd be cool for the SM protag and Lillie to reunite but with how the formula of the Pokemon games is, it's probably not going to happen unless GF decides to do something risky and different (playing as the same protag in this case), they've already done one big thing by not having gyms this gen so who knows what they're gonna do next
