Gengar was always my favorite since the beginning.

I was super into horror movies and monsters when I was a kid and Gengar was the most monster-like Pokemon to me so I instantly fell in love with him.

Mismagius and her design is cool and everything but Gengar is a classic and just better in every way.

He has this cool Chesire Cat, Disney cartoon phantom vibe to him and I prefer that over purple witch mon.

They literally destroyed all the fun stuff in one gen. And the sad thing is Gengar was also awesome design wise. Guess that's the only thing it has now.

Exactly this. Another thing is that Ground types like Mudsdale are pretty popular right now. It's pretty sad seeing it getting nerfed this hard. Still gonna love it for it's design though.
