This is because SuMo had a new exploit protection against progs like JKSM, so if you export/import from SuMo straight, you'll fuck up your save file. Dunno whether that's true for XYORAS.

So, I have two questions

Since which gen stat spreads stopped mattering? I remember that you had to find a legit stat spread that was coupled with a nature and an ability. Now it seems that you can put any stat to whatever and it won't mess up.

The second question is the same but regarding shiny-ness. Is it not tied anymore to a specific stat spread? You also had to find that in some fuck huge table of legit combinations of ivs/nature/ability for your given OT id.

Just putting a valid Secret ID that matches shinyness with your OT id will make it valid? Thanks

I think spreads stopped being a thing since you could make a pokemon with whatever stats you wanted via inheritance of a bunch of IVs with destiny knot, and abilities/natures via other items.
If the spread tables were still a thing, it would take too long for the game to find a valid combination for those stats.
Not sure about shinyness though.

The thing is, I just have the Homebrew Launcher and my console is on the latest version. Place PKSM folder and stuff into your 3ds folder and launch the HBL via soundhax, and you should be able to launch it

PKSM has 2 versions. The .cia requires a cfw to install. The .3dsx version only needs homebrew access. Also, to answer your original query, the freezing issues were due to people editing their location without knowing what they were doing. Editing location via X Y Z co-ordinates can land you in impossible locations such as being stuck in a wall. Don't location edit unless you know what you are doing. Other than that, PkHex save edits are perfectly safe.

On the other hand, if you install a9lh/cfw, you might have to move/hide your FBI / whatever cia icons you installed in a folder far to the right side to not make it obvious your 3ds is running cfw.

Not really injection related, but /hbg/ isn't answering. I'm trying to load Blue Rescue Team with TWLoader but it's giving me a black screen before it says: Error reading data. Please turn off the power and reinsert the DS Game Card.

Anyone have an idea what the problem is? BRT is one of the games listed to run.

For mythicals and event mons, it is better to edit the WC7/WC6 flag rather than create the event-mon from scratch. Importing the WC6/ WC7 into your savefile allows you to pick up the gift pokemon through the guy at the pokemon centre, just like a real event distro. This way, you can't fuck up shit like OT TID and SID, and met location etc.

given that soundhax just came out you guys should really just inject yourselves. it works on any firmware and if you have a n3ds you can literally use the qr codes yourself. if you have an o3ds you can just inject a bunch at once with a pc

Ahh. i see, it's probably because you are running the code with Luma? There were a few reports of eShop versions not working with HANS.

I tried to reproduce the error with freeshop version, and disabled Luma ext. code, using HANS instead. I could still run the QR injection, so I am not sure what was the problem. Maybe had to do with my cia being region-free patched.

download jksm and merge the 3ds folder in there with the one on your 3ds.

Go into the hbl via soundhax, start jksm, select pokemon to dump your savegame and dump it to the sd card.

Put sd card in your pc, edit with pkhex, save, sd card back into the 3ds, hbl, jksm, inject savegame, done.

On n3ds you can also do the qr injection method via hans explained in the op.

Make sure to keep backups of your savegames in case something goes wrong"

1. Open QR in a new tab
2. Copy that QR's URL link
3. Extract your save in JKSM and open in PkHexX
4. Alt + Click on the Arceus icon to load from URL
5. Set the mon in a free slot
6. Repeat for as many QRs as necessary
7. Save as main, and inject this save into your game
8. You now have all the injected mons that people requested, go on gts and trade to the requester.

Go get off your ass and do it yourself

Hello everyone , i recently installed soundhax & an another hack called basehax ,
and just to be sure , all i have to do when the 3ds update come is to put the new *otherapp* payload in my 3ds's sd card before the update right?

I never used basehax so I can't say for sure how to update it, but I am pretty sure the payload is not the otherapp file. Because we expect Soundhax to be fixed by Nintendo, you might want to hold off on updating until the basehax's dev releases updated payload for 11.3, as well as how to apply the updated payload. If you are unsure, just don't system update.

You don't import QR codes into pkhex, you only create them. The only way to do these at any reasonable rate is to get a patched codebin through HANS or preferably luma3ds.
