I am the OP and I feel positively about both Lucario and bipedal/homanoid mons.
And yes by bipedal I mainly meant pokemon with humanoid forms.
I tend to use them exclusively

Persian and the Nidos make sense though. Salamance and Krookdile are still baller evolutions despite the shift from body structure too. There are exceptions.

This Gen had some humanoid Pokemon I really liked like Incineroar, Decidueye, Shiinotic and Golisopod. They are overall not bad, though I can see why many people have reasons to dislike them.

Just being bipedal is fine, but I get annoyed when I see a quadrupedal 'mon, like the design, and then watch it evolve into bipedal furbait. Not all bipedal 'mons are furbait of course, the issue is more with furbait than just having two feet.

At least Rockruff satisfied both crowds and had both a normal and a furbait evolution. Would have been nicer if you could get both versions in both games instead of being version exclusive, but at least it exists.

You can in the wild. The only exclusivity of Rockruff's evos is that the evolution method is version dependent.
