Semi-related, do the UB's have the same catch rate as legendaries? I just accidentally threw a dive ball at Pheremosa and it caught it in one try, was just wondering if it was luck or if they made them piss easy to catch on top of giving us Beast Balls.

Beasts Balls give a really high multiplie so chances are you can catch most of them within the first Beast Ball. Regular balls have a 0.1x multiplier

Things like Phermosa are prety doable with regular balls, but you'll probably have a harder time catching something like Guzzlord in a Luxury Ball or something

Anyone who expected Lusamine to fight you on her own is just silly. You know people would hack the game to make catchable.

Also, Nihilego doesn't have any control over the person the take. It just makes them go nuts. She was still just a trainer.

Shows what you know, baka. Gen 1 was originally going to have the trainers battle too. That's why different trainer classes exist, and why several of them carried whips. It's in the Capsule Monsters beta art.

Given how GameFreak struggles with new ideas and reverts to old ones, it's entirely possible that trainers doing some battling themselves is possible.

personally I think GameFreak is borrowing ideas from Colosseum/Gale of Darkness and sprinkling them into their games (rather than ever revisiting Orre or remaking them). either way the precedence for crazy Octomom is there and not out of place for the series anymore
