The type itself is OP as shit, which bothers me. The Bug resistance makes no sense.

Design-wise, I'm a bit at odds with the retcons, but I like most of the new fairies.

Crazy Theory: Faeries exist only in the mega timeline. What do they have to do with the ancient weapon?

I'm cool with Fairy but mechanically it's broken as fuck. The strongest types right now are Steel (understandable since they're fairly rare and steel is strong) and...Fairy. The newcomer. Great.

Fairy definitely needs a bit of a nerf. Not much, it's just that it exists only to take Dragon down a notch and instead took down Bug, Ice, Dark and Fighting down a notch. They already had the tools to make Dragon-killers in Ice but for some reason they opted to just scrap it and make a new one. Doesn't help that Fairy was the only new type in its gen so it got all the glory and hype.

The fact that they are so cute and whimsical is a novel twist on the usual portrayal of aliens

Fairy/Grass or Fairy/Bug is my favorite type, if not just for the combination of a soft pink and green/brown, but Klefki is my favorite fairy.
