Pretty cool in BW2 after mellowing the fuck out and losing his glasses

I think it's kinda neat from a meta perspective, the guy focusing on getting stronger constantly puts a self handicap of going monotype

At the same time teaching other trainers how to advance. Along with his TM of working up in life and getting stronger

One of the better rivals, I think. He wasn't an edgelord like Silver, but was still ahead of you a few times and is a really good trainer canon-wise. He's like a mix between the friend rival and the intimidating rival. Kinda like Blue, but less douchey.
