Not gonna say a specific pokemon, but something like 80% of grass pokemon have only offensive grass moves. The few that do have more than grass moves are limited to shit moves, or only one single move of one other type.

Grass pokemon coverage is total ass and has always been. I'm glad we at least got a decent starter this gen with really nice coverage all around but it's been a long fucking wait.

Most of its stats range from mediocre to average, and there are better options to cover what it can do. Even though it has decent Attack, it has a way better Special movepool and more Special moves that benefit from Sheer Force, so running a physical Nidoking isn't that great. I mean it's not a bad Pokemon and is definitely usable, but it has some glaring flaws and weaknesses to some pretty common threats.

Grass Pokemon very rarely get anything that isn't their secondary STAB, Normal and maybe Dark type moves. The only Grass type Pokemon that can learn Thunderbolt is Ferrothorn. The only Grass Pokemon that can learn Ice Beam are Abamasnow, an Ice type and Ludicolo, a Water type. The only Grass Pokemon that get Earth Power are Sunflora, Shaymin, Torterra, and Cradily.
No Grass Pokemon learn Power Gem, only Ludicolo learns Scald.

Why does being a Grassfag suck so much? Why did it take 7 Gens for Grass Pokemon to be somewhat decent outside of Spore? What could possibly happen if GF decided to buff Grass Pokemon even a little? Would it throw the whole game out of balance?
