Rotation relied so heavily on prediction that it just ended up being about luck.

It's like when your idiot friend plays doubles and complains "How am I supposed to know when they going to use protect? It's all luck" except ten times harder. I'm sure if it got more attention, it could have gained some really deep strategies, but it just ended up being too unintuitive.
