I kind of like how moves like Smack Down and Freeze-Dry have additional effects against certain types. I guess Miracle Eye, Foresight, and Odor Sleuth kind of fit in here as well.
What are some neat ideas for moves that would allow you hit types with moves that normally wouldn't be able to hit them?

Fire-type move that's super effective against Water-types and has a chance to lower SpDef

Poison-type attack that's super-effective against Steel-types and may lower Def
>Grounded Bolt
Electric-type attack that can hit Ground-types, dealing neutral damage

Boil and Corrode are great ideas.
