Changes to the Alola Region for remakes?

No cutscenes, less Kanto pokemon, better villains, protagonist mattering.

Alola is beyond repair. All this wasted space. All those tiny places ( jungle, volcano) canyin was the only great """dungeon""" in this game.

To expand on OP, a large military base area full of highly competent trainers with tough looking hard to beat pokemon would be the shit. I don't think they'd ever do it, but it would be cool.

To expand on myself, having two new factions, one military and one for Aloloan Independence would be super cool. The military could have pokemon from Unova, and the alolan independence group could have alola native pokemon. Again, too politically charged for GF to do it, but it'd a cool idea.

All the places on the world map you can plainly see but don't really go to, like most of the volcano, the power plant, and the golf course.

I actually kind of like this idea. Maybe some sort of group based around ex Team Skull and the Captains/Kahunas versus a corporate takeover of the League? Aether could play sidebar this time around

I also like the idea of having a new "Battle Resort" where all the strong trainers hang out. Have it be based on one of the massive resorts we never actually got in the game, and maybe place a high-level military base nearby so we have two areas to fully explore. Oh, and give us the volcano, golf course and power plant you bastards.

Shit, go really crazy with it and start throwing in legendaries, cameos and all that into the mix. We run into Lt. Surge and Volkner at the base, maybe there's a Mewtwo chilling in the military base or we can run into Giratina in Ultra Space.

Make the Ultra Beasts have a bigger role too -- we actually have to go find them in specific areas rather than as wild encounters. I want to see Xurkitree eating off the power plant. Guzzlord was the only one that felt like this.
