'Win percentage' doesn't mean anything though; a 'mon could have one battle that it wins, and thus a 100% win rate, compared to a 'mon who fought 50 battles and have 90% win rate. It's horribly unfair.

Yeah. It's bad for things like Snorlax or Charizard actually, who only come out for big battles and don't get to star as the team ace. For example, Snorlax is almost always used midway through the battle, and "loses" despite getting at least one KO all the time.
