Why are Pokemoms generally single, /vp/?
>>31108305
But the gen 3 mom was canonically married
HE JUST WENT TO GET CIGARETTES
>gen 5
Don't even remember her, but I'd say she's my favorite in that pic just from the fact that she willingly exposed her feet.
>>31108328
I'm aware she's the exception. That's why I asked why are they generally single.
>>31108305
because it makes easier for 90's kids self-insert as the main character
>Single
>Sends their kids into the wild to go "train"
Shit moms and shit women
Because she went nuts.
I have a hard time choosing between 4 and 5

Pokedads are honorary african-americans.
BTW, Gen V mom is by far the best.
I always thought it might be a similar case to how many Disney movies have the parent(s) die, because Walt's parents died young or some shit. Maybe Masuda/Morimoto/someotherbigwig only lived with their mother.
Or maybe it's more like the Mother trilogy, where the father is missing because Itoi's business kept him from seeing his family. Would not be the first time that series was referenced in Pokemon
Also gen 1 mom is the best bar none, gen 5 mom is second place.

Their husbands are actually Pokemon
>>31108552
Is that Ash's mom?
Which I have in factfapped to many times
>>31108597
Yep
I wish there was better R34 of her, but it's been a while since I've looked
>>31108597
I'm sad she didn't get to live in Alola with Ash.
>>31108305
1>3>5>2>4
in SM you have or had a father who gave you that book in your room. i guess he is either dead or works in kanto like Hau's(and he is renting your room to lillie withou know she knows you)
In FRLG your character makes a comment like 'dad would like this' or something similar
I think gamefreak just omit then
>>31108597
Which egg movements could that Mr. Mime have passed to Ash?
May mom a cutie
>>31108305
I want to do a three way with Dawn's and May's moms
>Your hot pokemom will never escort you on your journey because she is lonely at home.
>>31108699
No one is saying that they weren't fathered, the point is that they're never* present in the game. The fact that only a couple times has there been some easily missed line of oblique reference is interesting.
The whole "japanese husbands are workaholics and never home" explanation doesn't really hold to me. They have no problem showing other secondary characters with fathers at home and men all over every region are mozying about not doing anything you'd traditionally identify as 'work'. Furthermore, if this is true why not just mention the father's occupation and have him in game at work where you could visit him? Maybe he's a businessman in castelia city or a electrician at the power plant. Maybe just once the mc is actually the professor's child, >inb4 oaklol
Where is my dad game freak!?
>>31108721
Apparent Homosexuality
>>31109081
Game Freak can't answer that for you TyroneHe's probably in jail
>>31109165
>Ash has been to jail twice
>Mom is/was raising the child alone
>Dad is MIA
>You realize the stats are true
Are they teaching us something here?
