Mega Sharpedo is the laziest mega yet anon. It looks awful. Its every stereotype of what a mega can be.

They neither refined or improved on the conecpet of Shapedo. They added a bunch of fucking stripes and spikes. Its really bad

Fan megas change too much from the original Pokemon. A mega isn't an evolution but an upgrade. What makes a Pokemon standout and unique should be improved or powered up.

What makes Sharpedo standout is its speed, jaws and the star on its head. Mega Sharpedo becomes more streamlined, grows more teeth and yellow scars.

A lot of fan megas add too much gimmicky shit that turns away from the original Pokemon's design.

Sharpedo is supposed to be aggressive and fast. All of these traits are exaggerated in it's Mega. The stripes are supposed to be scars (says so in the Moon dex entry) from fighting. It's attack and it's speed both increase, hence why it becomes more slim and gets a shit-ton of spikes. It kinda makes sense in this case. It's OK to have Megas that just add spikes, so long as every Mega doesn't follow the same principal. And they don't.

The scars are there to make it appear wartorn, and the spikes are for intimidation. Only dumb thing are those fucking hinges on its month.

Someone drew this for me before Mega Sharpedo was revealed. I think it looks pretty good. I'm still kind of disappointed MSharpedo wasn't torpedo-like.
