So I chose Oddish for a starter. The fire starter was simisear. The game told me my rival chose charmader, and when we battled he sent out diglett. Honestly, this is not looking like a rom hack of incredible quality. Because I really have no clue what to expect.

Snivy line is grass/ground (90 attack)
Patrat line dark/psychic (110 special attack)
Vileplume,golduck, and simisear have 530 bst
Pansear evolves into simisear around 27-30. Same for golduck. Gloom evolves into vileplume at level 33
