Should also mention that Ubers isn't a very popular format and I'm assuming mega fugg was banned very, very quickly, unlike Lele which has stayed around since Gen 7 OU's conception and will likely stay around a while longer and rain down cancer on everyone because it's a hotly contested issue whether it should be banned or not. Uh, no, Tapu Lele doesn't destroy everything. Magearna and Jirachi are very solid switch-ins for balanced teams. Celesteela works fine for all sets, except specs tbolt. This is vs slower teams, its best matchup. Offence has stuff like Mega Metagross, and generally can overwhelm its low physical defences with strong attacks. It's good, it's not broken, just let the meta settle and adapt to it.

I strongly believe the hate is pushed almost entirely by 1 or 2 people. The posting style is the same, and the arguments are always of the same bad quality. The threads tend to end the same way, with the Banlele shitposter initially pushing a bunch of bad arguments and samefagging, but eventually realising its not quite catching on. The cycle repeats intermittently as the same person makes what's essentially the same thread over and over again.
