Yep, Beldum has 10% encounter, but it's hard to catch as it's killing itself with Take Down. People are lazy and it's easier to exchange 10 Zygarde cells for it.

As you can see first Metang is caught in Ultra Ball next are in repeat balls - it's much easier.

It's pretty cool as in the same place where Beldum is you can find Dittos witch are good GTS trades too (get female salandit fo one )

I haven't tried this with legendaries, but I've been using relicanth as GTS currency for all of the annoying evolutions (froslass/milotic/scizor/slowking/sylveon)

I can't believe people are so lazy they're willing to trade those mons for relicanth. Yeah, he's hard to catch, but once you catch one you've got him. I've been breeding the shit out of him and just trading away. I'm gonna finish off the regular mons before I attempt the legendaries

If they're at all like me, though, they don't really want to spend time looking for it. I'm pretty sure the easiest way to fill your dex is to do trading chains: trade your item evolutions for other item evolutions or rares, and you can fill your dex in one afternoon.

Gotta say, I did the same for Relicanth, although it was for another monostage mon I think, maybe a version exclusive like Drampa or Turtonator.

currently breeding heavy ball magnemites, just ask for a legend and wait some minutes.

Then, if you got balltism, you can search the pokes you want with a specific ball, and trade those legends away.

Thanks to an idea I show from Reddit, I've been catching Riolu and running around in circles for hours to raise their friendship levels. Once their levels are high enough, I evolved them into Lucario and put them on the GTS. I've managed to get the opposite box legendary (Lunala), some UB's and a Cosmog.
What I've found is that if you don't like the nature and IV spread of a UB/legendary, all you have to do is put it on the GTS and request for a different UB/legendary. Then trade that for the Pokémon you originally wanted. Rinse and repeat until you a decent nature and IV's.

Nah, it's a bit more complicated than that. In order to catch Pikachu, first you need to run into a Pichu. Pichus are only in two fields of grass (the one near Iki town) at a rate of 5%. Once you run into a Pichu, you need to make it call for a Pikachu. Then catch the Pikachu.
