Well it's obvious because this is the only and true starter. I know this because I work for Gamefreak and we want to make sure to remove all the shitty starters from the franchise forever. This includes the Bulbasaur Line, Squirtle Line, Typhlosion Line, Chikorita Line, Torchic Line, Mudkip Line, Turtwig Line, Piplup Line, Chimchar line, Snivy Line, Tepig Line, Oshawott Line, Chespin Line, Fennekin Line, Popplio Line and Litten Line.

Is it weird that I don't think of Decidueye as "edgy" or all that "cool" as many say? I unironically just think he's cute and just overall a great owl bro to have along with Noctowl line. I never thought we'd ever get another and the Rowlet line is just entirely cute to me, even Dartrix. The way they always clean after themselves, their owl-like mannerisms. The whole archery thing just feels like a plus to me and made me reconsider archery in a whole way even though I never paid much attention to the actual sport. Which is ironic, since I've been a wrestling maniac when I was younger, but I'm not that interested in Litten's final evo, despite it and my overall fondness for cats.

Ribombee is the best Pokémon refresh Mon, her eyes sparkle when you pet her.

It's because it's cute, try dropping a bean in front of it – husband didn't know you had to hold them for the Pokémon (fucking genwunner) and he dropped it right in front of the poor guy, Decidueye actually pulls his little hood closed, it's v adorable.

The design is awfully consistent in that. For some reason, it dislikes having its head feather touched. I assume it could be easy to pluck and might affect something in him. Perhaps something wind related (feeling it in the feather itself, being able to detect things around?).
