I personally don't think Pokemon games are the best at anything. They're fun but not amazing or incredible.

I don't get the Gen 5 was shit meme. I can understand if you don't like BW or BW2 but if you don't like either of them, then what do you like about Pokemon? Yea, yea True Scotsman but Gen 5 feels like the quintessential set of Pokemon games. If you like the main series games, you should like one of these.

Emboar is only bad because everyone is sick of fire/fighting
Therian Kamis are fine, fuck genie kamis though
Garbodor is supposed to look disgusting
Vanilluxe line is bad, fair enough
Elemental Monkeys are shit but I prefer them to what gen 6 did to give the player a second starter
Woobat line is fine
Gen 5's good:bad ratio is basically the same as gen 1 and 3's
