Fairly generic, but I'll give you props for raising the Yanmega, considering it doesn't become good until after the E4, because thats when it can use its STAB on its actual good offensive stat.

Scyther does U-Turn spam a lot better(U-Turn spam isn't even a good thing to do considering HGSS' shit level curve), and Magnemite/Voltorb do Sonicboom spam a lot better as well, and you also don't have to deal with bullshit 1% encounter rates with either of them.
