I think it would help a lot if you add the eye of the 1st stage into the 2nd stage as a mark or drawing of a third eye in it's forehead, that way it would be more clear it's a psychic type.
Also for it's third evo i guess you would probably have to make it more mutant looking, though i have a hard time thinking how to make it so and still have it looking somewhat cute.

Thank you for the advice. I'll consider applying them to the designs. For the third evolution, I don't aim for cute that much. A grotesque yet intimidating design is what I'm primarily aiming for.
