The weird thing is i have another infernape from diamond that guy has 9 years and it's probably my first pokemon

but for some reason i think i liked my platinum infernape way more, since this one has the legend ribbon you get for beating red and then he followed me to all the other region

My Latias from the Ruby Eon ticket event. It happened to be Calm, not that I knew about that back then. It is tri-perfect in HP, Defence, and Speed, and has 27 in Special defence, 22 in Special Attack, and 12 in Attack. Everything older got left in one game or another when it sucked, but I love the ol' girl enough to keep her, even if LATIAS annoys me every time I use it. I got very, very lucky.

I also have the rayquaza that laid ruin to the entire region by the blazikens side (the rest of the team was lost, though I remember that I used a swellow and walrein and had a level 23 shiftree and level 30 tropius on the team as well for the elite four)

BUBBLER from leaf green, named after my prehistoric Red squirtle. I guess he'd be, what, 12 now? Quirky nature, but if we ever get the ability to change natures that old blastoise is first in line.

Well, most of what I had was wiped out by the great accidental save file purge of 2013, but I still have a German Kangaskhan I got in a Wonder Trade back in 2010.

I have a Sandslash and a Almaldo that are from my Ruby game. They are the only ones to survive the Soul incident of 2011.

I bought Ruby sometime in 2008, so TAYLOR the Blaziken is 8 now. However, I prefer SAMMICH the Lanturn (who isn't even a Hoenn Pokemon).

I'm pissed I can't find my Crystal cart, that definitely has my oldest Pokemon that didn't perish with the battery in my Red cart, but they can't even be transferred in.

I have a Metagross from Sapphire that I bring through every generation.

I rarely trade my legendaries as well so I have a bunch of them from the older games, and a couple of legit shinies like a Spinda from Sapphire, a Shieldon from Diamond etc.

my oldest mon is around 12 years old but he's stuck in leafgreen until i find it and transfer him up

I had him ever since Emerald. Sadly though, my Swampert from then was lost when my save file on Pearl corrupted.

I still have my Charizard from 2004. But all I ever did with it was transfer it to Diamond. I could send it up to the current games when the Bank update happens, but should I even bother?

Oldest mons are dead because the battery in my Gold died.

Don't remember exactly, but most of my oldest Pokemon, most of which are Shinies from Gen 1 to Gen 3 are freaking ancient.
My youngest brother was still in school when most of them were caught, and he just turned 28 a month ago.
I don't use any of them still, outside of breeding in Y so they can pass on their Balls.

Shit, exactly the same situation here. Got Ruby for my birthday in 03 and started with Swampert, the only one I managed to save from that cartridge.

Sceptile from Emerald, played in 2012, I think. Took him to every region. It was a struggle, but using him on PWT was the best.

One thing you could do that won't require buying flashcarts is to recreate your Crystal guys on PkHex and post the QR codes to the injection general here (/ekx/). There are very nice people who will inject them for you and trade them over to your game.
It's how I got my teams from emulators onto Y.

My Gardevoir from Emerald, so about 11 years ago.

Having already played through Sapphire I wanted to have a Gardevoir in my Emerald playthrough. Caught him ASAP on my first Emerald playthrough, he was my bro mon throughout the game and he's been consistently on my post-game teams since then, and is still my bromon.
