Azelf is a baller.

They've all settled into very specific niches.

Notably, they've all sort of vanished from most promotional materials. The DP remake is imminent.

azelf is decent
the others are shit mostly due to being pure psychic

Only the blue one. Azelf is the most versatile as its an offensive monster can fill a verity of roles: Nasty Plot,Choice Band,Mixed,Rock setter,Screener, etc. Best design too.

It was wayyy better in DP though. Heard it was one of the most annoying leads to deal with back then.
