mosy memorable without a doubt the battle against cynthia because it actually took me several re tries to win against her.

Lance was probably the greatest battle in the entire series for me time and again, his design, his specialization in the most mysterious and powerful type (at the time at least) his dragon theme, that motherfucking theme song.

It certainly helps that I couldn't get past the Lorelei when I was in grade one and Gen 2 was the first time I ever defeated the Elite Four and Champion in grade two or three.

Most memorable part of the battle? Mm my memory is fuzzy but I can faintly recall sending out my favourite Pokemon (childhood and today) Nidoking against his Dragonite and defeating it in a close match.

Mine wasn't memorable, just satisfying as fuck. He had a Mega Diancie that got a defense boost after killing one of my mons with Diamond Storm. So I sent in my choice banded Scizor and fucked her shit up with Bullet Punch. I don't know why that moment was so satisfying for me, but it further cemented Scizor as my favourite Pokemon of all time.

My favorite battle was actually the Player and Steven vs Maxie and Tabitha in Emerald. I thought teaming up was cool as shit.
