Getting 5IVs is pretty easy now that GF stopped giving a fuck about incest with Pokemon breeding and allows you to breed a child with it's parent.

I have a 6IV Ditto breed with the Pokemon I want and keep going till I get a 4 IV, then breed that one with the Ditto and get a 5/6 IV within a few eggs.
It's kind of fucked up, since you weren't able to do this in previous gens.

What I do is pump them full of the berries that raise friendship and lower EVs, after a few, they usually evolve at lv.8 or so. Alternately you can get a facility in Festival Plaza that boosts friendship in an instant.

If you want to suffer, go breed a pent in Gen 5 or below. You can get quad dittos and riolus by getting to a chain of 40. It's -nothing- compared to the old hell.
