What do you guys think would be the best way to do a more violent and graphic pokemon spin off? (manga, anime, etc.) Like not over the top violence but like actual hardcore battles and more mature themes like we've seen in pokemon generations.

You'd have to figure out how to make the good guy vs bad guy fights more graphic while still portraying orthodox battles in a way that doesn't demonize the core "kids training pokes to go to gym battles" look. Like make some sort of limiter or shield cover pokemon that are just being used for sport.

the "bad guys" are just a group of gang members something akin to team skull but more serious and violent.
The "good guys" are just a group of teens going from town to town in the region, and running into a gang member. Battle ensues

Atsuro ending - All Pokemon are put under the control of Kanto government which proceeds to become a world superpower with the Pokemon military strength
Kaido/Naoya ending - You lead the Pokemon and trainers towards a rebellion against Arceus
Yuzu ending - You shirk your responsibility as a trainer and Pokemon go wild and out of control, destroying all civilization
Gin ending - Pokemon are banished to the shadow realm and the world becomes like ours without any Pokemon
Amane ending - You alone control Pokemon under the close supervision and strict orders of Arceus
