Managed to SOS chain my first shiny last night after approx 120 Eevees... trying again tonight and its closer to 200 and nothing yet... hitting the Leppa berries hard now

I have a shiny Diglett with HA and a shiny Bagon for trade.

I'm also currently breeding for a shiny Absol, preferably female. In the process, a few perfect males were born. I also have a perfect snorunt and a perfect litten. I'd trade them for other perfect 'mons.

Shiny hunting in gen 7 feels very different. Even though I just started the autistic circle running and constant egg hatching feels weird. I've been used to collect and hatch 10 boxes at a time.
What's your guys' opinion on gen 7 "bike" simulator?

I had bred a shiny Electrike in ORAS, it was supposed to have HP Ice but it ended up with HP Water
I found its exact IVs and found that if bottle caps changed IVs to 31, it would have HP Ice
Since I just discovered that bottle caps don't change Hidden Power, should I keep going for an HP Ice Electrike?
Or just give up since its Mega Stone isn't even in the game

Somehow got a shiny Dratini while hatching for Wonder Trade today. It has Shed Skin and kind of crappy IVs, but it's something.

I've been trying to hunt a shiny Cutiefly for the past few days and got nothing after two 100+ encounter battles. Other shinies haven't been as hard for me, I had a random encounter Grubbin and Gabite the other day, and chained Zubat relatively quickly. Guess I'm just not lucky with these guys.

Ice punch is such a good coverage move, ice is just a gnarly off type to have.
I actually bred a shiny before I found out how to get the egg moves without a buneary, but I couldn't deal so I went for it again.

Had a pretty lucky Christmas haul! Got a shiny Dhelmise after 118 eggs and a shiny Passimian in around 30 eggs. Good luck, everyone!

I guess it's not exactly hunting, but I did manage to get a shiny Abra and TWO shiny Bounsweets (obviously hacked) off of Wonter Trade today, as well as a shiny Dratini from a /vp/ giveaway. Meanwhile, I'm still plugging along MMng for a shiny Mareanie, though. I like the regular color for Mareanie better, and will have zero problems with training one of those competitively if the shiny inherits the wrong stats/doesn't inherit Regenerator. It will be a fine trophymon regardless.

If you're using a ditto, just keep atching until you get the right nature. Stone it. Change the "rape victim" over and over until you get the one with the perfect IVs.
There will still be chances that there is a random shit IV, but it's irrelevant for the main game and can be bottlecapped for competitive. Be sue the ditto is foreing with perfect IVs and the "raped" have the right ability. The chances for the babies to have the right ability will then be pretty high.

All that "raped" swapping will not break your shiny chain. Good luck!

Since i missed the event in ORAS, I'm now breeding for a shiny beldum. I would prefer doing a SOS-Chain, but thats kind of hard to do with a pokemon that only knows Take Down.

You're supposed to switch Pokemon every once in a while, anon. If you think your SOS bait is getting low on PP, just wait until it has an ally, knock out the first one, and then weaken the second one. This is why Fasle Swipers are recommended. You don't just do it at the start of the chain and then never again, you have to keep swapping.

I'm finishing breeding and making some competitive pokémon in Omega Ruby, today checking my box I realize this breedject is a shiny.

Too bad Talonflame got fucking castrated with it's nerf. Sigh.

Shiny RNG has been killing me. I got 5 over the course of two days and now it's been 15 boxes of Rockruffs and I still don't have my blue Sanic midnight form

I initially wanted to Wonder Trade them all.

Now I'm 6 boxes into Mimikyu and it'd be a lot easier to just release them.

Porygon finally decided to shine after 8,350 SR. Just have to level it to 100 to Bottle Cap its garbage stats. Now I just need to get a perfect Ditto so I can start breeding.
