-Changes CHARM to a fairy move (as intended) so that eevee can evolve into sylveon
-Patched PhloxLab so that it no longer crashes on save

MyOldBoy doesn't have save states unless you buy the full version, but it's on the PlayStore.

GBCoid doesn't require you to buy anything for the full version with save states, but it isn't on the PlayStore. You'll have to use something like F-droid to get it.

People have suggested it supports older saves. I haven't tried it myself because I passed plox and don't plan on using eevee.

VBA saves have a different filesize/are saved a bit differently from saves on Virtual Console. Tried to export my save, do the board game for the shiny ball, and then import it but the save was corrupted by doing that. Had to reimport my old save before that and do it legit/the normal way.

I tested saving in Phlox lab as well, confirming it's safe now.
I even imported my old playthrough that got stuck in the lab and was able to load it up just fine. So if anyone else lost their files to the lab, get the patch and rejoice.

The crafting levels are bugged, so the second bingo card can not be completed and a mon that you obtain with the reward you get from that.

well something odd happened - fought the Pikachu (was lvl 22) and after i beat it - the PC turned on and i could withdraw/deposit mons.. Now the Pikachu wants 2 burnt berries, but when i get to the fireplace i don't have any berries. But i swear i've had three in pack. Also have one Oran Berry on my Quilava but can't use it.. Maybe i'm missing 3rd berry tree somewhere?

There are signposts with QR codes scattered around the game. Each one, when scanned (any scanner will work, there's also an in-game scanner that will just tell you but it's really expensive), will give you a hint to one of their locations.

the only possibility is it didnt save after i beat the league, it terms of why it sent me so far back. but the game defintely crashed when i clicked hall of fame

There are three ways to get a Shiny Ball and one is bugged.

You get one Shiny Ball for beating the Pachisi game in Torenia City for the first time.

You get another for completing the first Bingo card in Phlox Town.

You're also supposed to be able to craft Shiny Balls in Azalea Town once you reach Rank 50 in that skill, but crafting is bugged and you don't get experience for crafting so you can't do it legit.

This gen is really terrible at providing you with important info. Nowhere can you look up the types of a Pokemon unless you capture it first, and even then, you have to search the Pokedex for a specific type and see if it comes up. Moves only tell you what they do on one page accessible from your Pokemon list while not in battle that is isolated from every other page. When your mon wants to learn a new move, you don't see any info about what it's learning or what it knows except move names, so if you don't remember what they do, you're fucked if you don't look it up. Nothing in-game teaches you the good and bad of Gas, Sound,or Tri types. Documentation of what mons and moves have changed types is very poor, so trying to guess this can be a crapshoot if you don't dig through source. I got my ass kicked by every Wigglytuff I saw not only because I didn't know what types it was anymore, but the info I looked up on type effectiveness of Sound happened to be from Brown and didn't work the same way in Prism.

If I weren't resourceful enough to eventually find the correct info and dig through source, I would have given up on this game already.

I don't remember what number gym I'm at, I just beat the gas gym and got surf. First trainer nearly wiped me and forced me to use revives.

Typhlosion and Gardevoir are doing great but Gardevoir doesn't learn anything good for some reason
Ludicolo gets wiped by every water pokemon because Razor Leaf is weak and they all have stormfront.
Sneasel is woefully underpowered now and only works on ghosts due to have no physical ice stab
Pupitar is a weakling and takes forever to level. Dig is it's strongest stab

I have no easy way to grind because no fast forward. I can't cheat in the casino because no savestates. My team can win but it's so goddamn frustrating since I struggle with every single battle.

Well I updated it, I'm playing on Virtual GBA, and now my ingame save and save slot both don't work.
