Your fault for using a shitty emulator. It needs to make an rtc file. I been using GBCloid and I been stuck in the same day for three days. switched to a better one last night. Save states don't fuck up time as well.

Also, do not reset your time using the GSC method. It will not give you the option for date. I am hoping when pokesav is out for it it could be fixed with that but I doubt it.

14th Gym is south of Castro Forest, there is a split on the road between the place that leads to the water way to Eagulou. It's quite hidden but it's neatly tucked in the middle of nowhere.

16th Gym is Eagulou prison, open the cages in the order of sailor, Rocket member, Pallet Pink, and the top right corner last.

It's a prepatched Pokemon Crystal rom. With anon's Sylveon .ips fix if you have it.

Main methods of cheating are literally any crystal codes (max money, shinies, walk through walls are what I've tested to work).

Haven't tested but items or wild encounters but as long as you kniw the dex number or item code you should be able to gen items. Including the advanced ram hacks people were using to complete the bingo. You could also run a bot, wait for sciresm's prism pkhex, savescum or compile the patch yourself/modify the patch since it's literally got the source.

Get a shuppet, Frisk helps a lot since you don't have to catch every gligar. Just put Butterfree first and make sure it's fainted, that way you can start with shuppet while still getting the Compound Eyes boost.

Also make sure that you're grinding on the second floor of the Milos Catacombs, the encounter rate for them is the highest there.

So, I somehow walked through a wall that got me a gym ahead after the 6th, I completed Naljo ruins, and am now stuck in prison. When TPP was here, there was a black pallet ranger, he doesn't spawn for me, also there's grass with some interesting encounters where that was. is my save kill? I have a copy of it from right before I triggered the event that got me stuck (cause I reverted to my last in game save), but still after the seventh gym skip accident.

Update: So, initially I tried finding the 7th gym, but ended up in Pholox Town by mistake, beat up the lab, got pardoned from the prison I hadn't even seen yet, and unlocked the 8th gym. However, being that I'd never been to the prison, now that when I go to prison, the black power ranger won't spawn. Here's where it changes. I have the debug patch enabled now, and can spawn items, and change event flags. Catch is: I have no idea how to work this flag system well enough to do the thing. What is talking with black power ranger supposed to trigger? Does he give me an item? Any important dialogue? Does he warp me? Change the map? I can just spawn in a key or strength and strength works in overworld surprisingly, but I'm pretty sure that isn't how I'm supposed to do it.

Can you find the legendary Fire/Water mon in the water or is it grass tiles only? I'm on the same route according to the dex but its not showing up.

1. Back up your save, rtc, ROM, etc to a different directory or device first
2. Copy the files except your ROM to a new directory with this new ROM
3. Make the file names the same as this ROM, except for extensions
4. Now you have debug mode
5. Spawn an item (Check through the source rar a ctrl + F compatible list, open items.asm or whatever in a text editor)
6. Now don't scum it, just get this bullshit item so you can evolve your pokemanz, maybe some trade stones and shiny balls
7. Export the save files back to the old ROM, or just keep playing with debug enabled if you can resist the urge. It shouldn't hurt anything.

I looked into the source code, you can definitely get HM01-HM05, but I don't see any code that would give you HM06, Waterfall. There is code for areas that use waterfall, and many mons learn waterfall as a level up move, which I guess indicates it was scrapped as an HM move.
