No. They're supposed to be self-inserts. The only one who is reoccurring, Red, literally has zero personality and doesn't speak. That's his thing. They're all supposed to be like that, so bringing back anyone but Red is redundant.

Red is the shy, quiet guy. He doesn't speak much, and is really competitive. He gets lonely easily, but is too shy to admit it, so he needs some looking after.

Ethan is brawn over brain guy. Not stupid, but he likes rushing into things without thinking, and things still generally work out for him. Likes playing the hero role, and is a bit childish.

Brendan is laid back type guy of the group. Actually the strongest and smartest of the group, but doesn't show it. Likes looking flashy, thus his appearance.

Lucas is the typical shounen protagonist. Dense, simple and pulls through when needed.

Hilbert is Heroic Onii-chan of the group. Strong and reliable. He helps if everyone out, doesn't do stupid, and has a nice sense of humor. Have a lot of pride, and sees Red as his rival.

Nate is the innocent, yet popular boy. Think Akarin, he's the same as her, down to ridiculous hair and lack of pressence.

Calem is the faggot type. he likes to act mature and look cool, but fails at that pretty often. His outfit is the result of an attempt to look cool. Is a bit a of a tsundere, and a bit of a perfectionist.

Sun is the genki boy. He looks like a good shota, he's also an absolute madman. Willing to do anything to get his way, but likes being the Hero, so is overall good. Has a love-hate relationship with Brendan, because he's the one who keeps him in check.

Leaf and Chicken doesn't exist. Lyra and Dawn are hungry for Ethan and Lucas' dicks. Hilda and Rosa like trains and have yuri sex on them. Serena is likes going THUD THUD THUD with Calem.
