Got her in about 135 eggs.
Right now I'm hunting Trapinch. I was going to try to MM a female Salandit but decided against that at the moment.

thought i'd try my hand at sos training for the first time last night:

shiny meowth on a chain of 32
shiny eevee on a chain of 14(!?)
two 255 chains of caterpie, currently on a chain of 165 and still no shiny caterpie!

Got a third shiny Munchlax with Thick Fat last night while trying to get a shiny with Pickup. I gave up and grinded for BP to get an ability capsule. Now I have enough for another capsule when my next shiny Pickup hunt hatches with the wrong ability. Since Lillipup is the only Pickup mon available in SM that I don't have shiny yet (I'm not trying to SOS a shiny Pikipek with it's HA but I caught a non-HA shiny while EV training) it'll be my next hunt.

Nothing yet, but it will be a shiny Moon Ball Eevee once I get this Shiny Charm.

It's been my dream shiny ever since I saw Umbreon's shiny palette. I prayed that Apricorn balls would be introduced in Sun & Moon, and now that I got my wish, I'm ready and willing to get this no matter what.

I am new to Shiny Hunting... Hi?

Few days ago I stumbled on shiny Crablawer (first one I ever got, legally and outside WTing) and I thought I'd go back to Safari hunting and I got a shiny Magmar. So there, two first shinies.

Well, also I got on WT shiny Slowpoke in XY (the colour change is so subtle, I almost threw him back into WT) and earlier I got a very obvious hax'd Ninetails.

Been chaining for a castform. Not even as a shiny, but just to fill my dex. But this chain is so long I'm almost expecting to find a shiny before I catch this stupid little cloud.

If you swap breed, how many boxes on average do you take to get the shiny? I've had ranges from 20 eggs to 44 boxes and even if my autism is strong I don't want another fiasco like last time. I want to know if above 24 boxes is average around here.

I'm shaking right now.
First shiny hunt ever to take less than 5 boxes, got this gal on my 3rd.
It's literally perfect in every way, it has everything I wanted. My favourite mon, favourite shiny, gender/ability I wanted. It has the egg moves in a fast ball (the most fitting ball imo). The 6 perfect IVs was just the cherry on top. I guess it truly is Christmas.

I finished 3 hunts this week after getting the shiny charm, and they are Mimikyu, Regenerator Mareanie, and Bagon but I'm really fucking pissed about that one.

Mimikyu took _20 eggs, which surprised me at how quickly it came right after I got the shiny charm. Mareanie took about 40+ boxes, I stopped counting at one point. And Bagon I did my first swap breeding attempt for, and that took 37 eggs.

In XY I decided I wanted a shiny Beldum so I started to hatch for one. 5 thousand eggs later I still didn't get one and when Game Freak decided to give one out for free I stopped playing Pokemon until SM came out.

I was breeding Porygon for Christmas WT and hatched a shiny Porygon with 12 HP, 7 sp. attack, and a 6 in everything else.

I'm pretty happy right now.
