How do people still not get this. It tells you right in the Pokedex it's the seaweed that's the actual Pokemon. The compass just looks like an eye. This isn't even "Magcargo is like 1 billion degrees Fahrenheit" or other crazy nonsense like that. Steelworker fits right into that. It uses the Anchor to attack, so it gets Steel STAB, but the actual damage is done to the seaweed body, so it doesn't have Steel resistances.

Hell, I just checked it out in Refresh. There's absolutely no reaction from the compass eye when you do anything. It just swings around as it moves. It does respond to being pet anywhere, seaweed, steering wheel, or anchor, but it will only eat if the bean is in the seaweed part.

Also, there's no expression difference between when you're petting a part it likes or a part it hates, until you hit the point where you've done enough and it does the full body reaction.

I really want them just to release an art book of all their concept art for every Pokemon. The leaks of the starters only worked with me because they showed just how much their designs worked on several levels with the action shots. I wouldn't like them so much if I hadn't seen that.
