These casino slot machines are 100% rigged. I spent about 30 minutes trying to savescum a triple 7. It looks like the game likes to delay your input if you manage to land one. It did this every time, even with other payouts. I guess it must be pre-determined if you win or not.

You ever play a pokemon game and you're in one area for so long that every encounter is like another drop of water while youre getting water tortured? It starts to get physically painful to have the whole thing come to a dead stop every other second. No idea how people play these games without an emulator that lets you go at 3x speed

The ruby and sapphire ones are traded for the red and blue orbs. talk to the girl at the top of the department store in rijon for the trade. It's reasonable to supposed there's an emerald egg too, but so far that hasn't been found. There is also a crystal egg, but the girl doesn't take that one. Am I the only one having trouble getting pokemon to appear at night? Daytime has the usual encounters but 10:00 at night has none at all appearing. I can sift through the grass for ten minutes and nothing.

In the forest doing the shard quest and I kinda want to quit. Difficulty feels imbalanced where things aren't hard but annoying and a bunch of small things are bothering me. Stuff like new types and a lot of the dumb shit like needing a fire and electric type I didn't want in my party was annoying as fuck. I admit the hack is very impressive and I like it but it just feels tedious to play to me. What do you guys think, should I drop it now or try to keep going?

having the exact same problems and complaints you are, just everything about having to walking around as just a pokemon and solve puzzles and deal with encounters is totally unappealing to me. Something about playing the game at 3x speed and running from encounter after encounter after encounter just makes me want to kill myself or delete the game.

It's a shame because it's not like it's overly shitty hack just has some real glaring flaws. I like the idea of playing as your pokemon and having a little PMD adventure but it feels more annoying then fun. I guess I'll try a bit more.

I think the reason that being a Pokemon is boring is because it feels like a hassle. Walking around a large area with constant encounters is not fun. Talking to other Pokemon to initiate a battle where they could be super effective and kill you making you start from the beginning is not fun. Barely getting a reward for all this is not fun. These and segments like getting the Dynamite or the Magikarp segments don't feel like a game, they feel like a chore.

Agreed, and this is probably my main problem with the game.
The game feels really formulaic, there's always some maze you need to take on, then you get to fight the gym leader. Rinse and repeat.

It happened with the Dynamite Cave, it happened with the Totodile Forest, and it happened with the Gengar Mansion. Not to mention, all of these places have pretty damn high encounter rates, meaning you have to burn through your repels, or just get swarmed by enemies.
Although I just got through the fourth gym and the game could change everything up from here on out, I feel like it's just really repetitive.

The game could honestly be really incredible if they just switched it up a bit from time to time. Everything else in the game is pretty cool, and it seems like it really fucking pushes the limits of what a GBC game can be. I'm hoping I'm just wrong and they eventually do change the pacing of the game from where I'm at, but I don't think it'll happen.

Naljo Ruins is probably the worst one of the bunch for me since it actively enforces just running around in circles with the hidden holes, some that are even mandatory for you to uncover so you can return and jump over them.

Not to mention aside from the two Pallet Patrol and a few optional items, there were barely anything of interest there aside from the mandatory items to proceed. Burned around 20 Super Repels to clear it.
