Hi my 3ds just came in and I have gotten Pokémon moon
The last Pokémon turn based game I played was Pokémon XD gale of darkness (legitimately)
Rom wise I'm still only up to 3rd gen...

I am just making this thread asking for pointers on things I've missed
I'm getting Rowlett as my starter since I want an umbreon on my team due to gale of darkness and I don't like the popilo line and I also really dislike fairy type Pokémon...
I don't want two dark types on my team so litten is out
Other than that... I just can't wait to play...

If you want an Umbreon then you're in luck, when you get to the Nursery you're given an Eevee egg. You can also can catch wild Eevee of course.
If you want advice for playing these games I'd say don't rush to finish it, play slowly and explore everything during the main story. Also turn off the Exp. Share key item when you get it, having it on makes your team become horribly overleveled as the game goes on, making it even easier to play. To increase difficulty a bit you can also go to the options and use "Set" as your battle style.
