I'll be going to Japan in a few weeks and I'm wondering if it would be possible to get this Vulpix gift from a Pokémon Center (Store) even though my 3DS was bought in Europe.

Does anybody here in /vp/ have any information regarding how the region lock works in these kind of situations?
