Isn't this a little...strange. Even for the anime, they tend to put villains into the last half of the series but this time, its going first.

Either we're getting massive happening or its going to be thrown out the window for some wacky Ashventures at school (that doesn't mean i don't like them, i have enjoyed the past episodes a lot) and shits happening in the second half of the series

The only thing I'm a little confused about, is Nebby not in the show (yet?). What's up with that? That was a very important aspect of Lillie.

In the anime Lillie is still not aware of her mom's craziness (or at least doesn't remember whatever Lusamine did to her that made her being so afraid of touching pokémon), so she hasn't had any reason to do something as drastic as stealing Cosmog and running away from home.

It's kinda like the anime is a "prequel" to the events of the game.

I'm a bit surprised Team Rocket didn't appear in this episode. Normally in an ep. that features a big mansion/facility that's home to a lot of Pokemon, they'd always try to steal them.
I was also a bit dissapointed that Salandit was wild instead of belonging to a Skull grunt. If the TRio made their appearance this ep. alongside Team Skull, it'd be a good moment to have them meet.
