They did in the first thread. There's a couple version. What we need is someone to explain how to get the .sav converted into a format that can be imported to an installed .cia for those of us who started on the emulator and want to go to VC.

You just use JKSM for that, the output folder will have a file that's equivalent to the sav (iirc it's a dat). You'll need to export the save correctly from the emulator though, iirc it's the second option on VBA, idk about other emulators. I'd test but I gotta sleep now, you can figure out easily.

Just checked the structure on FBI to confirm.

sav.dat is the one you wanna fuck around with, just find the correct save type with whatever emulator you're using. Or use https://shunyweb.info/convert.php but idk for sure which target one is the correct (M3 I guess?).

rsm1 and rsm2 are the "saves" from the emulator configs/savestates, so ignore them.
