Shiny Hunt

Went to go SOS chain for a Mareanie with Regenerator, first Corsola I fished up was a shiny. That was the third wild shiny I've encountered this gen after not having encountered any in the previous 4.

Still hatching dumbass Littens. It's been over 750 eggs so far, rough estimate from the number of eggs I hatched total minus the eggs I hatched for livedex completion.

I gave swap breeding a try but I'm wondering if it's really faster, since I have a pretty smooth system going with the Littens atm.

Speaking of which, how can I make the game recalculate the eggs it gives me? I lost track of the image I saw which described swap breeding.

Just got my shiny charm and after a chain of 41 this guy popped up.

I just tried RNG abusing, I got a shiny Bounsweet after 110 eggs.
Because I could predict when an egg will be shiny, I hatched it in the Lush Jungle for maximum autism.
Don't know what shiny I should try to get now.

Been MMing with the shiny charm for a couple weeks now to get these for for a mostly shiny team for Sun (these four + a Type: Null and non-shiny morelull).

Litwick = 124 eggs
Venipede = 577 eggs
Snorunt = 153 eggs
Staryu = 1058 eggs (the last four hundred or so using the swap method which I'm not too keen on)

Decidueye is generally the best for False Swiping. I personally use my Golisopod cause I'm too lazy to level up my Decidueye.

Depending on the Pokemon you're going to chain, you need to know what moves the Pokemon will have. For example, Minior is high enough level to go boom, so bring a Damp user (I recommend bypassing a false swiper in this case, and use a low level Damp Pokemon to bring its HP down carefully).
for Sandygast, you need to first change its type to something else in order for False Swipe to work (Soak and forests Curse come to mind as options).
For Salandits, that Dragon Rage move is annoying, so bring a Fairy type to switch into after using False Swipe.

I decided that the last pokemon on my team would be a shiny igglybuff. So with SOS chaining everyone in my party has gained three levels so far because I turned on exp share. So does exp share also give EVs to everyone?

Personally I hatch 5, then release them and pick up the egg from the Helper. Usually I pick up a few perfect hatched mons for trading on Wi-Fi/Gamefaqs but otherwise I release them, or store them for Wonder Trading FC gains later. After Mareanie I'm going to Swap Breed for Beast Ball Bagon.

Going to evolve it into midday but midnight has a pretty cool shiny too. I didn't like the midnight form at first but it's grown on me after seeing the animations in game.

Really if you want a shiny, don't hatch it unless you just have to. It takes way longer than chaining + Bottlecaps.

What moveset?

I picked one up off of GTS and have no idea how to set it.

Currebtly hatching eggs for Mimikyu. Been doing it off and on for two weeks. Approaching the 512 mark and am starting to lose motivation.

With the taurous fence thingy, pretty sure mass hatching eggs doesn't take anywhere near the time it used to. You can get about 2-5 hatched a minute. The longest part nowadays is probably waiting for the egg to spawn.
