N is my favorite rival and he has a great set of themes. The set-up for the battles, with the cut-ins and the build up to a literal legendary showdown... Got to admit, it felt like a fanfic come true.

I would say she had great development even in just BW. From the time she started as an irresponsible trainer who messed your room, to the time when she goes out of her to get help for you all on her own, she got a lot of development. Great thing about it was, it was believable development. It was direct result of her journey, not just some random development that came out of nowhere, unlike it is the case with others in the series, like Wally.
