You must be new here. Are running Luma CFW or have homebrew access? Or neither?

The people posting QR codes made it from a PC program called PkKex. Volunteers with a hacked 3ds can scan the QR code and generate that pokemon. They will then GTS trade that pokemon to the person who requested it. The pokemon itself is completely legal (assuming you made it correctly in PkHex).

Without CFW, you can't inject via QR on an O3DS
However, you can dump your save using JKSM, edit it with PKHeX, and inject the save back in with JKSM

I'm trying to get in-game injects but on the SMPatcher page I have no idea what this part means or how to do it

To use: Extract code.bin from Pokemon Sun/Moon, run exe as "SMPatcher code.bin".

Use edited code.bin with either HANS/luma's custom code sections to use the patched code.bin.

I'd do it myself but 127 magikarp route is giving me a headache and I have version 2.11 on my 3ds so home brew isn't possible without hard modding or having another 3DS.

To find your seed, you need to be able to export your own save file, a different injector can't do that for you.
The best someone can do is find your TSV.

eShop version works the exact same way as physical cart. Go into homebrew, dump the save using JKSM, transfer to your computer and edit it.

It says the save file is corrupt and to consult the manual or something. All I really wanted to do was edit a dumb nickname off a Pokemon I got from the GTS, but even something as simple as that corrupts the save.
