It's not a "beneficial" chart, they only confuse if you have a minus stat nature.

Figy Berry can be given to anything without -atk
Therefore, any of the other ones can be given to stuff with -atk.

As far as I am aware,they only confuse if the pokemon in question hates the flavor(It's affected by natures)For example if you hold a Figy berry,and your mon has a Gentle, Hasty, Lonely,or Mild nature,they will become confused.
