I know they are really weird and not well drawn, but here are "UBs" I made.
they aren't really UBs, they are just microscopic Pokemons. Since I loved the theory I reused it.
First one is Poison/Dark, second one is Psychic/Dark and the last one one is Grass/Electric. It can open just like a flower.

most of these are painfully bland despite otherwise looking nice. I do like grass snake, though. And the fluff bug. poison blob ghost is neat. Ghost voltorb is surprisingly cool. Ice thing is literally a sonic the hedgehog enemy. that stupid pink negaverse baby is somehow endearing to me in spite of its stupidness. grass blob is perfect, 10/10. Solo grass thing between vulture and bug is rad. Cocoon is rad. Then we just delve right back into generic JRPG monsters for the rest of the dex.

How would stalactites drop when you're in an open field?
It'd be floating stones that stab you when you switch in either way, the only difference is that yours specifically STOP floating.
I always pictured it as there being a shitton of them around, and they only damage on switchin because the pokemon isn't able to see before it comes out, thus gets hurt from the FLOATING ROCKS EVERYWHERE and the floating is just there for why it hits fliers - once it's out it can avoid the shit, but being switched in there's that second or so of expanding out of the ball and FUCKING ROCKS
