It's weaker because it doesn't lower Special Attack meaning if you managed to get a Rock Polish or Shell Smash in you can continue wrecking face without worrying about your damage output lowering. 110 base power with 100 accuracy and hitting past Substitute isn't bad at all.

I've barely seen anyone running special moves on their Zygardes, Thousand Arrows is just way more solid than Core Enforcer, while the more popular sets either contain D-Dance/Coil along with Thousand Arrows, other than that there's the Rest/Sleep Talk stuff.

Call me a heathen with shit taste because I love his design. All he needs is close combat and shell smash. Clefable cucks him hard and gets free switches in even after a boost. He's got both poison jab and flash cannon. The tools are there, the potential is there he just needs 2 more moves GF wtf.

Kommo-o's real problem is that Ghosts, Bugs, Psychics, and Fairies are everywhere. It can't spam its STABs because it gets walled and checked by at least two mons of any OU team. It's not powerful or fast enough to be worth using as a wallbreaker / holepuncher.

Every time you click a move with Kommo-o, you have to rely on blind prediction and 50/50s to do anything. It's not worth it when there are better, easier Specs mons such as Hydreigon, Greninja, Hoopa, Tapu Lele, Wishiwashi, etc.
