What starter would you want from all the non-legendary non-pseudos out there?
Normal mode: must be a 3 stage evo
Hard mode: Must be a mon that could conceivably be found in the type of area you live.
Balls of steel mode: You must be able to subdue the mon yourself by going into the tall grass alone since no one would give you a handout.
best dog is the only answer fuck your three stage shit
>live in city area
>local mons are almost exclusively horrendous
>grimer, voltorb, magnemite, trubbish
I guess I'd buy a fucking lillipup from the local kennel

Klink.

probably a fletchling
Slakoth would be my starter. It'll be dope when my Vigoroth chills out and becomes a Slaking.
This guy.
Lynxes are rare where i leave, but its doable.
I don't think it will be hard to subdue it, if i use a good outfit to block the electricity.
I dunno Pidove I guess. Maybe Seedot? Not many common animals that resemble 3 stage pokemon around here.why is there no turkey pokemon
Tympole. Or maybe a Wurmple.

This, I replayed gen 4 a while ago. Decided to catch a shinx and replace my starter with it, good fun.
There's woodpeckers here so probably a pikipek.

I live in the woods so pretty much most of the grass starters. We've got one lone owl so probably Rowlet.
I want this thing.
Larvitar, does it count if the mountains are 1hr away from where I live? They're not that far
I live in an old medieval french city, so honedge would be my starter

I want this guy, but I'm not sure if I live in the right area. I live in a pretty warm place, where even winters aren't that cold and it never snows. Though there are no big mountains right next to my town. Though the closest one isn't that far away. Enough that I can easily travel there. Do I have a chance?

There's a large lake nearby to my house, and during the spring, huge swarms of toad tadpoles gather along the banks. Every year, I keep some in an aquarium until they metamorphosize into toadlets, when I release them. I did keep one toad as a pet though, I'd probably have a tympole for a starter. We would train well, and he'd be the strongest seismitoad in AT LEAST a 5 mile radius.
